Every care is taken to make sure that your stay will be as relaxed and comfortable as possible. Each of the seven guest rooms has been elegantly designed with a contemporary feel, to give a real home from home feel.
All the bedrooms have superb en-suite facilities, free Ethernet and Wi-Fi Internet connections, an LCD TV with Freeview, an iPod docking station, a hairdryer, plus a complimentary selection of hot beverages and biscuits. The rooms all have double-glazing, central heating and individual thermostats, and range in size from delightful doubles and superior king size bedrooms, to twin and family rooms.
Choose from three family rooms; two which have king size beds plus a single bed, and one which has a king size bed plus two singles. The ground floor bedroom can be configured as either a super king size bed or two generous twin beds, and is ideal for less mobile guests. The sitting room is bright and spacious with comfortable seating, coffee and tea facilities, plus a fridge with fresh milk for guests use.
Naturally a mouth-watering full cooked breakfast is included in your stay at Heworth Guest House, where both vegetarians and celiac diets can be catered for if required. A selection of cereals, fruit juices, and freshly brewed tea and coffee are also on the breakfast menu. Sue and Chris' copious and very tasty cooked to order breakfast will set you up for a grand day out discovering all the great things to see and do in and around York.
In the city centre you will find York Minster, Jorvik Viking Centre, The National Railway Museum, York Castle Museum, Clifford's Tower, and York Dungeon. The walled city centre is not ideal for car travel, but there is a bus stop right outside Heworth Guest House so guests can easily get there by bus or on foot. There is free parking for guest's cars in the street, and the train and coach stations are just a few minutes away.
